Board Vice Chair and Long-term Board Member, Faye Williams Craddolph, Has Passed Away.
The Los Angeles Urban League deeply mourns the loss of Board Vice Chair and longtime, beloved Board member, Faye Williams Craddolph. Her dedication and commitment to the Los Angeles Urban League extended beyond her 13 years as a Board member, many on the Executive Committee and as an officer. Faye’s life embodied the Los Angeles Urban League – she lifted people up, and exemplified excellence and generosity beyond measure. We find some comfort in that we will continue to reap from the wisdom, intelligence and deep experience that Faye shared so graciously with us.
Faye’s impact extended far beyond her personal story. She recognized the importance of supporting individuals with autism and their families, paving the way for greater awareness and understanding. Additionally, Faye played a vital role in the early years of “Making A Difference in the Lives of Children,” a luncheon dedicated to acknowledging the invaluable efforts of grandparent caregivers raising prenatally exposed drug children. Her financial support was instrumental in making this event a success and highlighting the remarkable dedication of these caregivers.
Her legacy is rich and will live on.
Thank you so much, Faye! We wish for calming hands to hold Faye’s beautiful soul and to carry her family and dearest ones through this time of transition.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you consider making a donation.
