The Los Angeles Urban League (LAUL) is thrilled to celebrate an incredible milestone for our President and CEO, Cynthia Mitchell-Heard, who has been featured in the Los Angeles Sentinel’s “Top 10 Local News Stories” for 2024!
Appointed on January 2, 2024, Ms. Mitchell-Heard made history as the first woman to lead LAUL in nearly a century. Her groundbreaking leadership and vision have already begun to shape the League’s efforts to empower Black and Brown communities throughout Los Angeles.
