This report is more than data—it is a reflection of the voices, lived experiences, and insights of students across Los Angeles County. Developed through a student-led research process, this study captures what young people are seeing, feeling, and calling for in their communities.

The State of Students in Los Angeles centers those voices. By capturing real student experiences across diverse communities, this report provides critical insight into the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of Black Los Angeles.
