2024-25 Program Expansion

We’ve grown. The Urban League and Intuit have expanded IDEAS in LA and across the country, due to its overwhelming success the first year. We’re now active in three metropolises.

• • 50 businesses in Los Angeles
  • 25 businesses in Atlanta
  • 25 businesses in Philadelphia

Participants who successfully complete the newly expanded 12-month program will have access to Intuit products and expertise valued in excess of $25,000 and will be eligible to receive a $5,000 grant to accelerate their business’ growth.

Criteria for the Los Angeles Program:

• • Business located in Los Angeles County
  • 2+ years in operation
  • Willingness to use Intuit products, like QuickBooks Online, during the program
  • Ability to attend monthly workshops and networking events

In 2023, the Los Angeles Urban League partnered with Intuit to dramatically improve business basics such as strategic planning, bookkeeping, tax preparation, marketing and overall leadership skills for 25 entrepreneurs across the Los Angeles area. The selected applicants participated in a year-long program and were connected with Intuit experts, Urban League business counselors, and executive coaches from Zella Life who helped each CEO sharpen their leadership and allowed their businesses to leverage the resources and software products from Intuit.
