Latino Heritage Month is here! Every year, from September 15 to October 15, we honor the vibrant influences our #Latino brothers and sisters bring to our culture, history, and advocacy.
Latino Heritage Month starts on September 15 because it highlights the day several Latin American countries won their independence, such as Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua.
The Urban League Movement is proud to celebrate Latino Heritage Month to honor the achievements of Latino freedom fighters, activists, changemakers and everyday community members who make our society more equitable.
