It’s impossible to summarize 104 years of community accomplishments in a 30-second Public Service Announcement, but the Emmy Award would go to KTLA-TV if there was such a category. April 2025 marked the debut of a new slickly produced and comprehensive we might add, PSA, airing on KTLA 5 LA’S VERY OWN.
The production, a collaboration between KTLA’s Community Engagement Unit and the LA Urban League Communication’s Team, highlights two longstanding partnerships. First the continuous commitment from KTLA to the Los Angeles Urban League, along with the support from KTLA 5’s newsman Chris Schauble, who is the narrator on the video. The multi-award winning Schauble will also be the co-emcee of our upcoming Whitney M. Young Jr. Awards and Celebration, in June at the Skirball Cultural Center.
