Drive With METRO

Exciting career opportunities are available with the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) as bus operators. Previous bus driving experience is not required. The pre-employment two-week training is no-cost and has been proven highly successful in preparing job candidates for the position.

Los Angeles Urban League offers paid training for students ages 24 years or younger

Eligibility:

• 21 years of age
• Able to pass a drug test, employment verification and DOT Physical
• Valid Driver License (min 2 years)
• Satisfactory driving record for the past 5 years
• Ability to speak, read, and write English
• Have a consistent employment history
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check (if job offer is made)
• Must pass a multiple-choice reading comprehension & math assessment
• Must be unemployed
