The Manufacturing Academy prepares students for an entry level role as a computer numerical control (CNC) Machine Operator.
CNC machinist is a hands-on career using manufacturing technology that produces parts for a variety of industries such as automotive manufacturers, aerospace, mechanical engineering, metalworking and more.
Students will learn the fundamental knowledge of Conventional & CNC Machining, Blueprint Reading, Precision Measurement Instruments, and related manufacturing topics. The basic qualifications needed to be a machine operator are a high school diploma and a training program.
Entry level positions can pay $18 – $20 per hour. This program has a 90% job placement rate after graduation. We can also provide help with your resume and preparing for interviews.
