The Los Angeles Urban League has teamed up with Tiffany Haddish and her foundation, known as “She Ready” to form a landmark new jobs and workforce development partnership. This is phenomenal news for Los Angeles’ foster youth.
Haddish, who spent time growing up as young girl in foster care, created the She Ready Foundation to empower and support children living in the foster care system. Los Angeles County has more than 25,000 foster youth in care who have experienced abuse, neglect or who’ve been abandoned.
Foster youth and transitioning adults need our care now more than ever before and the Los Angeles Urban League salutes our new partnership with Tiffany Haddish, the brilliant Dr. Thyonne Gordon and the She Ready Foundation.
