James Bird

After several successful years in corporate America with Sears Roebuck, Burroughs Corporation, General Electric, and Digital Equipment Corporation, James Bird started investing in real estate part-time. He started small by buying and fixing up and flipping small houses, and duplexes, for a good profit, in South Central Los Angeles. Realizing his full-time attention to real estate investing could far exceed his corporate salary, James started investing in Apartment Buildings, Condominiums, multi-family units, and commercial real estate. His investments extended to Northern California and other states such as Louisville, Kentucky, Atlanta Georgia, where he developed condominiums and townhomes.  He has taught many others in real estate investing through public speaking, private coaching, and mentoring programs. He also helped run a Real Estate Investment Club that provided a great forum to network for both beginner and expert real estate investors. As a result, many other individuals became successful real estate investors. James Bird graduated from Dorsey High School and California State University Los Angeles, graduating with a BS degree in Business Administration.
