Shift gears into a new career! Register today for our upcoming info session and learn about our upcoming two-week training course to become a bus operator with LA Metro!
Previous bus driving experience is not required. The pre-employment two-week training is no-cost and has been proven highly successful in preparing job candidates for the position.
ELIGIBILITY:
- 21 years of age
- Able to pass a drug test, employment verification and DOT Physical
- Valid Driver License (min 2 years)
- Satisfactory driving record for the past 5 years
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Have a consistent employment history
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check (if job offer is made)
- Must pass a multiple-choice reading comprehension & math assessment
- Must be unemployed
